✓THE CORRELATION OF THE HAPPINESS AND THE THOUGHTS RESIDING IN OUR HEAD.....

@ Another one in the streak of a 16 months of my blogspot writing..😌..

The primary cause of our suffering is our thinking.


This is not a new finding. You can track its origin back to years c. 100 AD when Stoic philosopher Epictetus said "It is not events that disturb the minds of men, but the view they take of them".

We like to think we have full control over our mind, but actually rarely is the case so. If that would have been true, we would never be anxious, depressed or stressed by our choice. We would always choose to be happy!

 I've seen closely the power that my thoughts have over me and tried different techniques for dealing with them.

In this short article I've used my naive experiences to bring out soem specific points related to the correlation of the thoughts residing in our head with the quality of life we live in our emotional ground.

The first one starts with analysing the connection between us and our thoughts and the power they have over us. It helps us to build a different, better relationship with our thoughts, so we don't get caught up on them and react reflexively on them, rather it offers ways to step back and observe our thoughts, without acting on them. It also helps us discover a quiet, peaceful, safe space inside usw

where we can "stay" on our hard times.


Second one is an alternative. It has to do with analysing the content of our thoughts. When the mind is under stress, anxiety or depression, it tends to twist the reality in negative ways. We go step by step on identifying these distortions and techniques for replacing them with more positive thoughts.

We go a step further by identifying the root of negative thinking which lays on negative core beliefs. We see closely how to identify a negative core belief and how to replace it with a positive one.

In the end, I would like to summarise that "the thoughts residing in our head result into the quality of life we are gonna live on our emotional grounds. And if observed clearly.....thoughts can be modified from negative alterations to the positive ones too..🙌..
